18 karat gold agate butterfly carving diamond pearl contemporary pendant brooch.

The process of making this pendant brooch set in 18k gold with sparkling diamonds, started just like that of a butterfly. As the little caterpillar goes through the rigorous process of metamorphosis only to become a beautiful butterfly, likewise we hand-carved one rough piece of natural agate only to achieve an absolutely beautiful butterfly carving weighing 8.74 cts!! A total of 0.55 cts of VVS-VS / G-H (Clarity/color) diamonds sprinkled in and around the butterfly, along with a pearl drop at the bottom enhances the scintillating beauty of this a one-of-a-kind masterpiece!! The intricacy of the carving is so perfect that that the more you look at it, the more it grows on you.
